Name: Claire Plumbly
Business: Clinical Psychologist who works with people with anxiety and trauma.
Website: https://www.drclaireplumbly.com/
Problem: Maxed out with 1-1, 3 month waiting list, nothing to offer and hit an income ceiling
Success: Took group programme ‘Untroubled’ to market within 4 months and immediately enrolled 6 clients. Now consistently enrolling new clients month on month.
Before working with Gemma…
I had a natural flow of 1:1 clients but I’d hit a ceiling so I wanted to develop a group programme. I was maxed out with people on waiting lists and I couldn’t serve them.
Claire’s Key Points
Creating group programme and doing market research calls happened quickly which was great and made it all feel tangible
Learnt how to deliver the modules of my group programme and entice people to take the next step which I wouldn’t have thought of
I used the techniques Gemma teaches to get clients signed up and I had 6 people sign up for the first group, and 6 the following month.
I only have a small audience but was also able to use incoming referrals to fill the group.
I’m able to refer people who wanted 1:1 support to the group programme as another option and show the benefit of group - not feeling alone, the increased accountability.
Finally feel like the possibility of reducing 1-1s is on the horizon and I have a date in the diary to do this
Excited to focus on my group programme as being a big part of my work
Would recommend Amplify to…
Anyone who is doing too much 1-2-1 and you know something has to give. Especially if you find yourself repeating yourself to lots of clients as then it’s easy to format into a 1-many offer.
For my group programme, I could see it in my head but couldn’t quite see the depths - you’ve taken all the thinking away so I could just focus on bringing my ideas to life.
What should others know about Gemma?
Gemma has many gems to share, I tend to nod along in agreement with everything I read from Gemma as well as all her wisdom on the videos and calls. She’s good at labelling and calling it out before I've really labelled it myself.
She’s encouraging and good at helping to contextualise worries so we can see the next step to resolving problems that crop up.
She’s calm and patient, even though we can end up bring similar issues up each week.
The workbooks are spot on and you have a knack or breaking down the components so they feel less overwhelming.
She’s really good at asking the right questions to make us pull on our own internal resources but also being more directive when that's required.
The programme milestones are really good and I loved the celebratory gift box which was a lovely surprise.
